NVIDIA doesn’t only make games perform and look better — the graphics giant is hugely invested in AI, deep learning and machine learning research.
Just recently, NVIDIA made its first collaboration with a major European institution by establishing an AI laboratory with the University of Luxembourg. This effort involves four departments of that institution, namely:
- the Interdisciplinary Centre for Security, Reliability and Trust (SnT)
- the Centre for Systems Biomedicine (LCSB)
- the High-Performance Computing Team,
- and the Luxembourg Institute for Science and Technology (LIST).
To date, six team members have been assigned to tackle each department’s most difficult research problems. The team will have access to some of the most advanced software and hardware made by NVIDIA, and their research could help find solutions to real-world problems.
